There was a lot of fun at the FUN fair, hosted by the Lieb PTA. Thank-you to our PTA, staff, and parents who volunteered their time to make it happen.
Thank you all for attending our music concert on Tuesday. The kids had a blast singing about Outer Space, Moon Cycles, and Stars. The K-5 grade-level performances were also accompanied by Outer Space Jokes and our 3-5th grade choir club! Bravo!
Excellent performance by our 5th grade band students this evening and the Simmons Middle School band directed by Mr. Hostetler and Ms. Knapp!

Second Grade Drama Club did a fantastic job in their production of Mother Goose to the Rescue! The Drama Club was under the direction of Mrs. Rosa Saldivar. Great turnout for the event and a captivating performance by our second graders!

Thank you to our parents who applied, interviewed, and were accepted into our Parent Mentor Program with Arab American Family Services. This is Lieb's first year participating in the program and it's been a huge success!
... and thank you to our other parents who hear of random opportunities where our school needs support, such as preparing the set for the 2/3rd grade drama club or art for the upcoming art show! We CANNOT do it without you! Thank you for your partnership.
4th and 5th grade students tried out instruments yesterday to see which instrument they liked best! Students had a blast making sounds and learning about music.

Happy Earth Day! Classes participated in a variety of activities to show appreciation for our Earth. Some classes went outdoors for nature walks where students even took it upon themselves to pick up a piece of garbage and others made robots out of recycled materials. It was a fun day!
Oak Lawn Community High School Student Council is hosting Project Fire Buddies Field Day, Saturday, May 11. $5 donation (100% of proceeds benefit Project Fire Buddies). Ages 5-11. There will be a bounce house, face painting, relay games & a fire truck to explore. Refreshments for purchase.
Today was a BIG Science day at Lieb School!
Students watched the eclipse (either outside or from alive stream from NASA in the gymnasium). Students loved learning about how the shadows and light changed as the eclipse occurred! So much fun was had by all!
In 4th grade, students experienced "Agriculture in the Classroom". Students learned about the role of a vital agriculture sector in their lives and society, especially in Illinois!
